Job Description

We are seeking an astute EHS Advisor to join our Engineering & Manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) matters in our Swansea location.Client DetailsThe organisation is a renowned industry leader in the Industrial / Manufacturing sector.   • Develop, implement, and manage EHS systems and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures.
  • Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation.
  • Initiate and organise EHS training of employees and executives.
  • Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions.
  • Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle workers compensation claims.
  • Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities, or new prevention measures.
  • Report on EHS awareness, issues, and statistics.
ProfileA successful EHS Advisor should have:
  • Proven experience as a safety coordinator or similar.
  • In-depth understanding of legal health and safety guidelines.
  • Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies.
  • Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment.
  • Excellent organisational and motivational skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • BSc/BA in safety management or relevant field is preferred.
