Systems Engineer South West Wales 20211/511 £50,000 - £60,000 plus further benefits An award-winning electronics manufacturer in South Wales is currently looking to strengthen its research and development department with the key acquisition of a Systems Engineer. With investment secured for the next 5 years, this company is in a leading position to capitalise on the market growth. Role & Responsibilities: The Systems Engineer is responsible for the system level architecture and generation of specification documentation for all new product development and sustainability activities. The role of the Systems Engineer is to bring cohesion to the multi-disciplinedNPD team and have the ability to have an overall view of the NPD program. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for the generation and maintenance of all design documentation and will lead and coordinate all risk management activities. * Translate marketing and product needs into engineering design and specifications. * Responsible for the creation and maintenance of design input and output documents. * Perform and manage FMEAs and risk management activities, developing mitigation and risk control strategies and generate supporting documentation. * Manage, and perform where necessary, engineering, verification and validation testing including protocol development, report generation and regression analysis. * Perform complaint investigations where necessary and fully document the associated root cause analysis. * Manage and organise data to identify and describe problems and assess the suitability of technical solutions. * Develop and document processes, methods and tools for product testing and evaluation Knowledge, Skills & Experience: * Degree level qualification in an Engineering discipline * Ideally you will have 5 years experience in a similar position * Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) software advantageous. * Previous experience of working to ISO 60601-1 and ISO 14971 standards Benefits Package: * A starting salary of £50,000 - £60,000 * 25 days holidays plus bank holidays * Hybrid working * Pension Scheme * Healthcare cash plan * Sick Pay * Life Assurance To apply please email your CV / resume to Hunter Selection is a nationwide provider of recruitment services in ENGINEERING, MANUFACTURING, SERVICE & TECHNOLOGY.
