Job Description

Counter Fraud Business ManagerSwanseaWe are proud to exclusively partner with an exciting, growing and dynamic motor insurer to recruit a Counter Fraud Business Manager, helping the company to provide an effective deterrent against external insurance fraud, and taking a zero tolerance approach.The successful candidate will help to support the technical performance of counter-fraud, from pre-sale to claim, through continuous improvement of tools, processes and techniques.There is a highly attractive salary, bonus and benefits on offer with this role, and full transparency on this will be given during your first consultation with the managing consultant.Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding the business results and taking anticipative or remedial action in relation to counter-fraud.
  • Providing technical guidance relating to counter-fraud and overseeing processes with technical or financial implications.
  • Making recommendations to internal stakeholders and engaging with brokers as required in order to achieve optimal counter-fraud outcomes.
  • Supporting the Heads of function in leveraging commercial advantage in relation to counter-fraud.
  • Researching market, legal and technical developments, ensuring that recommendations are compliant with relevant internal policies.
  • Liaising with external counter-fraud agencies for the benefit of the company and the industry as a whole.
  • Tracking and evolving Management Information, making appropriate recommendations for improvements and making submissions to internal committees.
  • Managing the optimal financial performance of counter-fraud supply chain contracts.
  • Determining technical best practice on key issues, liaising with relevant internal stakeholders.
Key Requirements
  • Previous counter-fraud management experience.
  • Financial literacy and Management Information analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good understanding of RTA Claims, contractual obligations and Article 75.
