The South West Wales Region based in the centre of Swansea employs 25 Mammographic staff, comprising of Advanced Practitioners, Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners and Clinical Imaging Support Workers.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Imaging Support Worker role at Breast Test Wales, Swansea. The service invites applications from individuals who wish to develop a career within our Breast Screening Service.The successful applicant will be required to complete an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Fundamentals of Health Screening. The Clinical Imaging Support Worker role at Breast Test Wales involves working as part of the multi-disciplinary team to chaperone patients through their breast imaging pathway and assist with interventional breast procedures. This post requires a high level of accuracy, with additional administration responsibilities involved with the mammography film reading process and image management.Breast Test Wales fully supports the 4-tier structure within Radiography.
