Job Description

CDM Consultant/Principal Designer £30,000 - £40,000 + BenefitsSwansea, WalesMy client, an award-winning Sustainable Construction Consultancy, is on the look-out for a CDM Consultant/Principal Designer to join their close-knit team in South Wales.The main purpose of the CDM Consultant/Principal Designer role is to provide CDM Advisor and Principal Designer support to clients across the UK. You will plan, monitor and co-ordinate health and safety risks in the design phase of pre-phase construction projects and advise clients on all H&S and CDM regulations. Alongside this, you will carry out site inspections & audits and ensure that all Health & Safety documentation is fully compliant with current legislation.What are we looking for

  • A strong background in construction with previous experience working as a CDM Consultant and Principal Designer
  • Sound knowledge of CDM2015 and associated legislation
  • NEBOSH Diploma (desirable) and/or NEBOSH Construction certificate
  • Tech/GradIOSH is desirable or working towards
  • Membership of APS (Association for Project Safety) is highly desirable
  • Knowledge and skills associated with ISO 9001 14001 & 45001 and OHSAS 18001
  • Ambitious, enthusiastic, self-motivated with a pragmatic approach
  • Good IT skills and proficient in Microsoft Office packages
  • Excellent presentation, report writing and communication skills
  • Excellent client facing skills with the ability to understand clients needs
  • A full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
