We are responsible for managing and monitoring data from DVLAs core systems and responding to a vast range of requests for reporting purposes and ensuringdata accuracy. You will have the opportunity to work with several softwares and data querying languages, developing your skill set. On larger projects working within a technical framework of the project to meet customer requirements. Software development using both recognized and/or specialist programming languages and technologies including Microsoft SQL BI Stack, MDX and T-SQL Conducts Unit Testing of developed applications against agreed standards. Participate in Continuous Improvement and defect fixes that can be carried out to improve Application performance. Support the creation of standardized documentation following the agreed standards and processes. Technical planning with the team supporting the ongoing data requirements of the DVLA.About you and working for DVLAAbout You:The ideal candidate would need to possess a real passion for Data and Data Engineering. You will have working experience of using T-SQL, MDX, Microsoft SQL BI Stack, SharePoint, including the use and deployment of external content types and of working withlarge amounts of data, ideally in a database environment.You will have experience working in a support environment, responding to issues and incidents when they occur and supporting the business in day-to-day requests.You will also bring excellent written communication skills to communicate effectively to customers at all levels of the business.
