Job Description

Are you passionate about management accounts Do you want to be a future finance business partner if so this is the role for! You will be working on the management accounts, month end and analysing the cost of sales and sales revenue.Client DetailsThe client is based in Swansea and is easily accessible by car and public transport. The client provides solutions to the services sector which is booming post covid and are UK wide, with excellent options to progress.DescriptionAs a Assistant Accountant you would be involved in:

  • Ensure Billing is invoiced accurately and Complete
  • Proactively work with credit control, operations and the client to ensure invoiced debt is collected to terms, Work with EPs to follow sales process map and escalation
  • Manage the Sales Log & Reconcile sales ledger
  • Minimisation of overdue debt (no debt over 60 days), Catch events without full prepayment pass information to operators
  • Match ETAs (Estimated Trading account)
  • Fcast / Actual Reconciliation
  • Cash/Credit Card Journals
  • Cost of good is calculated and measured within venue expectations weekly/Monthly
  • Work with HODs to ensure wastage is measured and minimised where possible, also flashed when necessary.
  • Stocks are Submitted checked & verified in line with IPOE guidelines.
ProfileThe successful candidate for the Assistant Accountant role will have the following attributes:
  • Have completed their AAT or studying ACCA or CIMA
  • Experience of Management accounting
  • High numeric and analytical skills - excellent knowledge of MS Excel
  • Ability to analyse and evaluate information
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively plan and organise own work
  • Full UK Driving Licence
