My client is a leading woodwork manufacturer, with 100s of ongoing building projects across the UK at any one time. Due to expansion, they are recruiting a surveyor on a permanent basis.The job entails visiting building sites and residential refurbishments throughout London and the South-east of England, taking detailed measurements, and designing staircases to suit customers requirements.Starting salary of between £28000 - £35000 per annum depending on experience. 28 days paid holiday, working Monday to Friday you will be required to visit 6 or 7 sites a day. A company vehicle is provided along with the relevant measuring kit needed. Therewill be a period of training alongside one of their experienced surveyors.Experience & RequirementsFull training is given however Surveyors recruited are either experienced in the joinery or building industry (i.e., could be measuring up for work be it woodwork, doors, carpets) OR graduates ideally with mathematics or engineering (or similar) degrees.Very good mathematical skills are essential and a full drivers license is required.Key Skills
