We would actively welcome applications from candidates of diverse backgrounds andunderrepresented groups.We encourage applicants and employees to tell us about any health issues they may have to allow us to put in place reasonable adjustments that may support applicants in the application process and support employees to succeed in theirrole.*About the role:*Gapsquare seeks an experienced Senior Software Engineer-.Net C# to be a strongcontributoron team, Gapsquare Integration Squad, locatedin Lon Sutton, UK, and to be a wider part of Xpert HR Development Team.Person selected for thisexcitingnew role performs complex research, design, and software development assignments within a software functional area or product line; provides direct input to project plans, schedules, and methodology in the development of cross-functional software productswith focus on initiatives for Driving Behavior Expansion initiative; performs software design across multiple system; trains and mentors junior developers; talks to users/customers and translates requests into solutions.*Responsibilities:** Strong proficiencyand ability with, but not limited to, the following: optimized code development; test-driven development; completing complex bug fixes* Work with development team to understand complex product requirements and translate into software designs* Successfullyimplement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews* Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders***Requirements:** 3+ years of Software Engineering experience* BS Engineering/ComputerScience or equivalent experience required* Strong Object Oriented programming language skills (preferably C#)* Expertise in software development languages including but not limited to: .Net Framework, *.NetCore*, *C#, **Angular** Have good experience workingwith Relational database like SQL and NoSQL database like MongoDB* Good problem solving and statistical analysis skills and Goodoral and written communications skills and ability to work well with other team members* Cloud experience (AWS/Azure) will be niceto have* SOLID principles* Knowing GoLang and/or python is a plus-* Pension 5%* PMI* 25 days Holiday buy more 5 days brings it up to 30* 3 discretionary days over Christmas* 2 volunteer days* Life Assurance x 4 your salary* Telephone call with Talent Partner*Screening call with HM* Second interview - Technical test.NET, HTML5/CSS3.NET, C#, Angular
