The academy has outstanding science facilities spread over two floors, including specialist Biology, Chemistry and Physics laboratories, and a super-lab that can accommodate up to 60 students for lecture-demonstrations or large-scale practical activities.With a Specialism in Science, the Academy collaborates closely with its neighbours on the London Cancer Hub site: the Institute of Cancer Research and the Royal Marsden Hospital. These represent two world-class organisations and together with the six-form entry Academy, they form a campus community with research buildings, hospital facilities, and a reputation for excellence in the fields of research and medical provision.You will provide assistance in the preparation of resources for practical classes, with duties including:

  • preparation of resources, including assembling apparatus
  • ensuring safe storage and transit of resources,
  • stock taking, ordering resources
  • maintaining a healthy, safe and productive environment in the Academys prep room and laboratories.
