Job Description

Looking for an exciting, challenging and rewarding opportunity within the radiopharmaceutical industry Do you have experience working in a clean room manufacturing pharmaceuticals Are you experienced within a GMP regulated laboratoryOur client, a large radiopharmaceutical manufacturing company, are looking to recruit Radiochemists to join the production teams of their Southern sites. This will be a varied and challenging role, suitable for a proactive individual who is capable of working to tight deadlines.Main duties involve the production and radio-synthesis of radiopharmaceuticals for PET imaging. Production Radiochemists may also be concerned with authoring SOPs and other quality related procedures.The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the aseptic compounding of pharmaceuticals, preferably chemotherapy or cytotoxic products. Previous experience with radioactive material would be a distinct advantage but is not a pre-requisite of the role. Excellent time management skills and an ability to work autonomously are essential. The ideal candidate should also have good communication skills, be technically minded, proactive and have the aptitude to follow methods/procedures precisely.
