Handyman / Fabric Engineer - Static SiteOur client is a National Building Services provider. They have an excellent reputation within the region, they are currently looking to recruit a Handyman / Fabric Engineer to work with them covering their Clients Portfolio in the Sutton Region.You will be working on a Static site; and will be based at one of most high-profile sites delivering planned and reactive maintenance schedules to a Commercial office complex.Working on a variety of building services equipment, delivering service, maintenance, fault finding & repair, carrying out Planned, Preventative & Reactive Maintenance Schedules.Duties will includeEmergency Light Testing, Carpentry, adjusting Fire Doors, door locks, basic plumbing tasks, decorating and general building fabric repairs.Maintain up to date records of all work carried out within the site manuals, both hard copy files and electronicTo participate within an out of normal working hours emergency call out rota and be flexible outside of core working hoursMaintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, customers and work as part of a teamEnsure clear communication with line management and office support staffWorking hours are Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm (40hrs per week)Ideally you will be educated to City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent in a relevant Trade, knowledge & experience of working on commercial or industrial plant & systems. Holder of a Full UK driving licence, a valid CSCS card, Working at Height/IPAF/PASMA certificationis desirable but not essential.
