Job Description

Our client is a leading provider of emerging market currencies to FinTech companies and Banks across the OECD countries.This role - Global Business Development Manager - is adding to the business development team supporting the growth of the FX and Payments arm of the business.Client DetailsSitting in the Business Development team of the FX and Payments arm of the bank, our client is a leading provider of emerging market currencies to FinTech companies and Banks across the OECD countries.Description

  • To build out the banks FX and Payments business - drive sales & assist product & IT to develop client-centric solutions
  • Providing key support to the banks clients, with a specific focus on e-commerce & FinTech
  • Marketing to existing and potential clients
  • Effectively manage existing clients and increasing revenue footprint
  • Marketing G10 and Emerging Market currencies
  • Represent Agents at client meetings, with existing clients and generate leads with new clients
  • Attend and represent the bank at conferences and client forums - promoting the bank and their core products
  • You will have the ability to prioritise your day in a fast-moving market and high growth environment
  • Operate a robust compliance and risk management framework - ensuring that the banks policies are adhered to
ProfileYou will be a highly driven individual, looking to make a difference in a high growth business. You will be well positioned to manage complex client sales discussions and to navigate internal challenges to mobilise client deals and revenue growth.
  • Ability to work in a highly motivated business development environment
  • Relevant market experience - evidence of a client-first attitude
  • Sales negotiation combined with financial markets and financial systems experience
  • Ability to navigate the company, to ensure the best of the group is targeted against the most valued clients and opportunities
  • Demonstrable sales experience in international financial markets and geographies
  • Evidence of client relationship skills, demonstrate ability to help clients manage and execute needs, strong revenue generator
  • Experienced salesperson who has covered/serviced Banks, Central Banks and Non-bank financial institution clients
  • Foreign language: French and Spanish would be a plus but not essential
  • Self-motivated and revenue driven, with an entrepreneurial attitude to work
  • Passionate about the FX market with the ability to speak confidently to C-level clients regarding payment and contract options for their currency requirements
  • Enjoys networking with key decision makers to maintain and secure new business
  • Ability to close client deals and mobilise the bank to generate revenues in a timely fashion
