Job Description

Export Sales Support ExecutiveNorth Nottinghamshire£27,000 - £35,000, plus bonus and rising with serviceAbout them:My client is a well-established, global trader operating from multi million-pound premises in the Mansfield area of Nottingham. They are a family-owned business with solid values and many of their workforce stay at the company for the whole of theircareer.The role:This diverse role involves assisting and supporting the overseas agents and distributors to enable them to promote the company products and increase their market presence. The role will be based at the companys HQ in Nottinghamshire and worldwide travelwill be required. For this reason, you must hold a valid passport be able to travel without restrictions and have a full driving licence.Key Duties:

  • Acting as an ambassador for the company in their developing export markets
  • Being a point of contact and UK support for the overseas agents & distributors to enable them to grow their sales
  • Presenting the Companys newly launched collections to overseas agents / distributors and their sales staff to help them develop the sales of the companys collections.
  • Visit overseas clients together with the local sales rep to introduce them to the companys collections and address any concerns or additional support they may need
  • During overseas visits analyse and assess the local market to highlight any strengths or weaknesses and identify opportunities and report back.
  • Represent the company at overseas exhibitions.
  • Desk and field market research.
  • Whilst in the office perform any necessary administrative duties to assist with the smooth running of the department.
  • Co-ordinating marketing and PR activities
Person Specification:
  • Must have international / or export work experience
  • Fluency in at least one other language is desirable - with Russian and Mandarin being of particular interest.
  • The candidate must demonstrate a professional and mature attitude with the capability to work independently using initiative.
  • Communicating with agents, distributors, sales reps and customers worldwide the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and an entrepreneurial flair.
  • Must be accustomed to working away from home on regular overseas visits.
Other Information:
  • The core hours of work are Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm - with flexibility on either side of this.
