  • Michael Page is pleased to be working alongside an internationally recognised business in the manufacturing industry, that are rapidly expanding their technology function in the UK as a 3rd Line IT Engineer
  • The company has made significant investments into the core infrastructure supporting several manufacturing sites globally including their UK head office near Sutton-in-Ashfield
  • The company is also about to embark on several new projects involving further investment into cutting edge technologies and are at a stage to grow an internal IT team.
Description
  • As a successful candidate for the 3rd Line IT Engineer role, you will have a depth and breadth of 3rd line skills to deliver projects, provide incident response and assist with systems support
  • You will have experience in Design, Implementation and Maintenance of:
  • VMware and Veeam Infrastructure
  • Microsoft Stack - Server, AD, Azure, O365, Exchange, SCCM, WSUS
  • System Security - Azure, AD, Group Policy, MFA, Intune, Conditional Access and Patching
  • Connectivity - LAN/WAN, VPN, Routers and Switches
  • Service Availability - Clustering, Load Balancing, Maintenance & Capacity Management
  • Ensure service or project issues are resolved or escalated within agreed SLAs as well as creating documentation
ProfileA motivated self-starter able to work alongside the established team to drive the business forwards through technology change. You will have 5 Years+ proven experience within a similar environment in delivering and supporting the technologies listed below:Skills required:
  • Strong understanding of the Microsoft Stack - Windows Server 2016, 2019
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Applications such 0365
  • Strong understanding of Virtualisation Technologies, VMware, Veeam & Hyper-V
  • Strong understanding of supporting Desktops, Servers & SANs in Datacentre Environments
  • Strong understanding of AD & Group Policy design and execution
  • Strong understanding of Networking, configuring of switches and other core components
  • Experience in DR and Business Continuity
