I am recruiting for a Wordpress Developer based in Birmingham for an industry leading B2B marketing, PR and digital company. They are offering a highly competitive salary of up to £26,000 with some fantastic benefits.THE ROLEAs the agencys Wordpress Developer, you will offer your expertise and support for the multi-disciplinary cluster comprising of marketing communications, PR, digital and social media. You will help design and build affective websites, mainly with Wordpress and including WooCommerce and API integration. Communicating updates with account managers, designers, fellow developers. Creation of occasional email templates.TYPICAL DAILY JOB DUTIES - WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Write and test PHP in an Object-oriented styleWrite and test JavaScript in a modular, configurable, reusable, and DRY formatAdhere to project Coding Standards such as PSR and WordPressAdvanced WordPress knowledgeExperience setting up WooCommerce websites and payment gatewaysCreate stand-alone plugins and themes that handle integration through filters and actionsIntegrate 3rd Party APIsUnderstanding of website optimisation building for high performanceWork with version control.
