Job Description

Excellent Opportunity Available Website Developer Competitive Salary of up to £20,000 Working from home Do you have a passion for maintaining and building e-commerce websites Are you technical within IT and feel confident in creating a suitable website for a start-up company If so, then the below role is suitable for you!Key Responsibilities within this role - Building an e-commerce website for a specific company in mind- Improving and maintaining the website so its easy to use and attractive.- Adding and removing company products, Evolving the website to be user friendly.Details into the job role

  • The production of mock-ups and the design of UI for eCommerce customers, with attention to detail.
  • Maintaining and managing an ecommerce website ; delivering continued design, development and maintenance support
  • To help conduct audits, identify design and usability problems for customers (prospective and existing) and devise solutions for subsequent action.
  • To present key findings and full design solutions to the internal team.
  • Collaborate closely with the team to ensure design and development continuity, with handovers and regular design reviews to ensure quality and functionality.
  • Candidates will need experience of :
  • Experience in a UI / UX role and a portfolio of professional design projects - with examples of both mobile and web applications
  • Experience designing for eCommerce (in-house or agency) with portfolio examples within this area.
  • Expertise in standard UX software such as Figma, Adobe XD, Axure, InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, Framer, and the like is a must.
  • A clear understanding of the importance of user-centric design and design thinking.
  • Passionate about design and pushing the boundaries of eCommerce.
  • Real enthusiasm, creativity and excitement - who is not afraid to suggest new ideas.
  • A team player, able to work with various departments within the company
  • Experience working with Shopify or other similar eCommerce platforms.
  • Experience of planning, facilitating and managing User-Testing sessions
  • Interaction design experience * Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.
  • Knowledge of user testing, evaluation and analytical tools, including (but not limited to) Hotjar, Google Analytics, Data studio. Benefits
