Warehouse Stock and Inventory Controller£25,000kBirminghamMon- Fri 8:30am -5pmMy client is a dynamic and growing manufacturing company committed to delivering exceptional products/services to customers. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Stock and Inventory Controller to join the team and contribute totheir success.You will be responsible for tor delivering support to the Stock and Inventory Team in administering contracts and long-term agreements. Provide a high level of service and ensure the contractual obligations are consistently met.Job Overview:As a Warehouse Stock and Inventory Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining accurate stock records within our warehouse. This position requires a proactive and organised individual with a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills,and a commitment to optimising inventory processes.Key Responsibilities:" Order processing" Accurate order entry" Accurate stock allocation using FIFO principles" Use of cut planner software" Oversee inventory management, including regular stock counts and reconciliation" Plan and execute stock replenishment strategies based on demand and sales forecasts." Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries." Monitor and optimise warehouse layout for efficient goods movement." Conduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing products." Utilise inventory management software to track stock movements and generate reports." Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall supply chain efficiency." Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies." Raise purchase requisitions in relation to forecasts and ordersQualifications:" Proven experience in warehouse management and inventory control." Familiarity with inventory management software and systems." Strong analytical and problem-solving skills." Excellent organisational and time-management abilities." Effective communication and interpersonal skills."
