Job Description

Sociology Teacher -BirminghamAre you a Sociology Teacher looking for a new role to start immediatelyAn excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Sociology Teacher. This is a long-term role until June 2023 to be extended, based in a college in Sutton ColdfieldYou will need:

  • Have experience as a Sociology Lecturer teaching A Level Sociology
  • Have experience working in a Further Education and training setting
  • Demonstrate a genuine desire to help young people learn and develop
  • Share the colleges ambition to help all students reach their full potential
  • Be a passionate and dedicated person who is eager to contribute to the development of the provision, as well as evolving their professional practice
About the role:
  • Temporary Full-Time (25 hours per week) contract to deliver A Level Sociology.
  • Ideal Candidate: Previous A Level teaching experience essential and knowledge of OCR A Level Sociology specification preferred.
Other essential requirements include:
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
