Job Description

Senior Business Analyst Sutton ColdfieldUp to £60,000Hybrid + BenefitsIm looking for a Senior Business Analyst to jump in and lead one of the biggest transformations of their career!Are you up for the challengeThis Greater Birmingham-based business are about to head into their biggest technical transformation yet and are looking for a skilled Senior Business Analyst to join their team. They have been using outdated technology for the past decade and have receiveda great deal of funding to make major improvements to their databases and migrate away from legacy systems to a more modern and scaleable platform thatll evolve with the future growth of the business.Please note that this will require you to be on-site one day a week (Wednesdays)What youll be doing:

  • Ability to facilitate workshops with stakeholders who are potentially resistant to change, pulling out pieces of key information.
  • Immaculate documentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Best in-class process mapping ability, in complex environments.
  • Someone collaborative whos used to working as part of small teams.
  • Experience working on legacy transformations, in regulated environments
Skills Im looking for:
  • A well-rounded background in business analysis that covers everything from those early brainstorming sessions to shaping and scoping out projects, all the way through to supporting implementation.
  • Skilled at working closely with both technical experts and business folks to make sure youre all on the same page when it comes to requirements and what success looks like.
  • Understand the ins and outs of various business analysis techniques for defining what the business needs and how to meet those needs with technology.
  • Experience with both agile and waterfall methods, so I can adapt to different project styles.
  • Great at leading workshops with key players. Youre all about listening, asking the right questions, and working together to find solutions that benefit both the business and the project.
