Job Description

Security Installation Engineer required for a nationwide, multi-disciplinary, NICEIC approved company with a vacancy for a Security Installation Engineer to deliver high quality maintenance contracts to a range of commercial clients.They are based in the Midlands and the Security Engineer will be required to work across this area.Operating within there NSI & BAFE Gold standard Protection division, it is their priority to get the right person who will be proficient in all areas of security system engineering (CCTV, intruder, and access control).The Engineer will be required to carry out servicing on their planned and reactive maintenance contracts, together with new installation work, involves daily travel nationwide, with rare overnight stays.Security Installation Enigneer Position OverviewThey are looking for an engineer who:

  • wants to expand their knowledge of their work and the industry
Security Installation Enigneer Position Requirements
  • qualified to NVQ Level 3 Fire emergency and security systems or equivalent.
  • qualified to 18th Edition and possess NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, C&G 2391 or equivalent.
  • 5 years min experience incl. adhering to British, NSI (NACOSS), and BAFE standards.
  • valid ECS Card, IPAF and PASMA are preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of, and training in, security systems including Paxton, Honeywell, Texecom, Bosch, Hikvision (desirable).
  • Track record of installation, commissioning and repair of intruder alarm, CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and audio and door entry systems; including service visits.
Security Installation Enigneer Position Remuneration
  • £34,000 - £36,000
