Job Description

About our client Client:Over the last 8 years our client client has rapidly grown to become one of the most vibrant products and logistics providers to the UK Communications installer market

  • Salary:£11.88 per Hour client (£26,250.00 per annum)
  • Hour clients:8:30am4:30pm, 9am5pm & 9:30am5:30pm
  • Employment Type: Permanent
  • Start Date: Immediate Start
  • Location:Coleshill, B76 1JU
Key responsibilities & duties:
  • Supporting the team and your client own customers accounts in sending of pick notes to the warehouse, managing the flow and transit times to ensure on time delivery and inventory reconciliation with the warehouse manager.
  • Raising quotations for the customer and following up for updates.
  • Progression of order book
  • Progression of quotes
  • Ensuring any positive or negative issues are logged on SHEQ
  • Spot checking transport partner costs
  • To ensure that flexibility is maintained to ensure the smooth running of the department / Company
  • To be an ambassador and to promote our client successes, our client culture and enhance our client internal and external customer experience.
  • Management of order status, generation of shipping documents (pick notes and delivery trackers).
  • Oversee updates to the team on order status and generation of shipping documents for example, pick notes and delivery trackers.
  • Oversee the managing, preparing and routing of customers order details to logistics providers.
  • Ensuring prompt delivery/collection of orders through fluid follow-up measures.
  • Responding to any internal team questions and enquiries feeding back on status of deliveries.

  • Management of POs to make sure they are received and inputted into the relevant systems to ensure timely invoicing and assist finance with any invoicing queries ensuring your client team are aware and working to the process.
  • Managing the operations administrative tasks required to manage key accounts.
  • Preparing reports for senior management, as and when required.
  • To work with your client team to continually monitor and review the processes and procedures within your client department - ensuring that they are still relevant and up to date.
  • To schedule and carry out Internal audit reviews of the processes and procedures and implement system or process improvements where possible. To share and communicate these effectively across the business to maximise the benefits.
  • Manage projects to ensure costs and profit margins are in line with agreed KPIs. focus on attention to detail to deliver Right First Time.
  • Support the management team and other areas of the business. Attend project and customer meetings and explore best practice procedures to maximise margins and efficiencies.
  • Be proactive in putting forward continuous improvement ideas to direct manager and senior team.
  • To undertake any other duties as and when necessary to meet the varying demands of the business and satisfy customer needs.
Minimum qualifications, experience and Academic qualifications:
  • GCSE and good standard of education
  • Previous experience as a Customer Service Coordinator in the Logistics/supply chain sector (Minimum of 1 Year)
  • Full Site Training will be supplied
Knowledge & Experience
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Intermediate level in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft packages.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good time management skills, able to cope under pressure in a busy and fast paced reactive environment.
  • Excellent organisation skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of the telecommunications industry.
  • Experience of delivering the best customer experience.
  • Strong ability and proven commercial awareness
