Job Description

Regional HR Manager - to be field based around the Midlands area.UP to £50,000 (based on salary & Car allowance) This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and inspirational HR Business Partner/ HR Manager/ Senior HR Advisor to join a forward thinking business. The role is pivotal to the business and will give the successful HR Manager/ HR Business Partnerthe opportunity to make a real difference. The successful candidate will be delivering a multi-site Senior HR Advisor/ HR Manager/ HR Business Partner service. You will be dealing with everything from discipline grievances, training delivery and ideally everythingup to early conciliation and Employment TribunalAs Regional HR Manager you will:

  • Attend and support at operational sites within your geographical area to ensure the provision of support, coaching, guidance and advice on all HR issues are in line with the organisational and HR Strategy.
  • Coach and support, Managers in the interpretation and application of HR policies and practices.
  • Work independently as the advisor in your area of responsibility in collaboration with operational leads.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and updating of HR policies and procedures in line with current employment legislation and, drive their implementation within your geographical area.
  • To support managers and be the HR Lead on change processes, such as redundancies and TUPE
  • Lead contact for suspensions and escalating delays to HRBP
  • Lead on any complex cases escalated by shared services, up to and including end-to-end management of EC’s and ET’s.
  • Coach, support and guide Managers on all aspects of HR.
  • Management of the company whistleblowing procedure, from disclosure to resolution in a timely manner.
  • Work with the Shared Service Department to assist in the resolution of HR queries, where required.
  • Conduct exit interviews for senior roles.
  • Liaise with Trade Unions/representatives on all relevant issues as appropriate.
  • Collate weekly/monthly HR KPIs for the provision of management information.
  • Health and Safety policy, and Emergency and Fire procedures
Qualifications and Skills RequiredEssential:
  • Experience of working in a Senior HR Advisor or HR Manager or HR Busiss Partner role providing support and coaching on all HR matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and restructures etc.
  • Excellent and effective communicator and influencer, both verbal and written
  • Able to successfully, competently and confidently influence key stakeholders
  • Commercial acumen
  • Experience of change management including TUPE
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and stand alone as decision maker
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a high and complex workload with good time management, planning and organisation skills; able to challenge process and seek out better ways of working
  • Evidence of CPD
  • CIPD Qualified to Level 5 or equivalent
  • Maths and English to GCSE Grade C and above, or equivalent qualification
  • Computer literate with experience of HR Databases, Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) & other systems / databases
  • Full driving licence
Desirable:
  • Experience of delivering a multi-site Senior HR Advisor/Manager service
  • Qualification in training delivery
  • CIPD Qualified to Level 7
  • Experience of Early Conciliation and Employment Tribunal
