Job Description

Are you an experienced primary school teacher looking for work in North BirminghamWinner Education are seeking a PPA Cover teacher for a primary school in the Sutton Coldfield area. This role is full-time to work across all year groups in KS1 and KS2. The successful candidate will be required to start immediately and will run throughto the end of the academic year. The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher however, this role is suitable for a HLTA with previous experience of cover supervision.The successful candidate must:

  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum
  • Have previous experience working across both KS1 and KS2
  • Be confident in delivering lessons to full class sizes
  • Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Be able to form excellent relationships within the school team as well as pupils and parents
  • Have previous experience of working with KS1 children
  • Show willing to go ‘above and beyond’
Roles and responsibilities:
  • Lead on lesson planning and preparation
  • Tailor lesson resources and materials to those pupils who require additional support
  • Assessing and providing pupil feedback and progress reports
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
  • Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and student welfare
