Material Planner£27,000 per annumMinworthCalling all Material Planners!Are you seeking for the opportunity to join an award-winning company Previous experience of working within Material Planning and Production This is the perfect opportunity for you.Our client is a global market leader in metallic raw material supply chain solutions and are actively looking for a Material Planner to join their warehouse on a permanent full-time basis.Roles and responsibilities of the Material Planner:" Receiving and processing customer forecasts & liaising with production team" Order progressing and issuing weekly order updates" Resolving gaps in supply" Analysing delivery performance" Creating KPIs" Stock management and analysing actual vs forecast and any forecast discrepancies" Quoting/requesting prices for spot items where necessary" Maintain stock levels" Monitor and challenge forecasts/slow & non-moving parts and request amendments to purchase orders" Monitor incoming stocks and proactively inform clients & line manager of any potential delaysSkills and attributes required:" Educated to GCSE level or equivalent" Knowledge of materials management and inventory systems" Experience of manufacturing processes and supply chain management from within a fast-paced manufacturing environment" Ability to efficiently work in a team or individually" Proactive and problem solving" Good standard of written and verbal skillsWhat the successful Material Planner will get in return:" 25 days annual leave, plus 8 bank holidays" 08:30am to 17:00pm" Company sick pay" Company pension scheme" Free parking" Bonus, referral scheme" Access to a range of discounts including travel, health assessments, dental, cinema, days out and shoppingIf you feel that you have suitable experience for the Material Planner position, please click apply or contact Ellie Hardiman at Pertemps Birmingham Industrial, Hagley Court.
