Job Description

Our Client is an Independent Solicitors firm offering over 30 years experience within the Conveyancing field. They offer a competitive rate with brilliant customer service and a professional yet friendly approach. Due to retirement they have an immediatevacancy to start Temp to go Permanent for the suitable candidate.As the Conveyancing Secretary you will be responsible for:

  • Copy and audio typing of a range of conveyancing documentation
  • Residential Conveyancing skills and knowledge is essential
  • Previous experience of Land Registry applications and forms is advantageous
  • Audio typing of letters, emails and documents
  • Processing large and small legal documents, including correspondence and bills, from manuscript or digital dictation
  • Preparation of contract packs and submitting initial searches on behalf of Solicitors
  • Dealing with calls relating to completions and scheduling deeds
  • Diary management using a manual and electronic system
  • Take incoming calls from new and existing clients
The successful candidate for the role of the Conveyancing Solicitor will have:
  • MUST have previous Conveyancing Secretarial experience
  • Excellent communication and written skills coupled with outstanding organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent Audio speeds with a keen eye for detail
In return the Conveyancing Solicitor will receive a basic salary of circa £20,000. Starting on a TEMPORARY Basis this is an immediate start due to business levels. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.Please Note: We do not contact or write to unsuccessful candidates.
