Job Description

AUTOMATIC GATE ENGINEER - BASIC SALARY UP TO £30,000 + OVERTIMEOur client is an established family run company based in Sutton Coldfield who are growing at a steady pace and they provide a range of engineering services to clients in both commercial and domestic environments within the gate automation industry.They are looking for a Gate Automation Engineer who is confident working on a range of equipment to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.Salary of £28,000 - £30,000 depending on experience + overtime.Fully stocked company transit van, fuel, mobile phone & PPE.Working hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week).Area of work: West Midlands.Role & Responsibilities:

  • Installation, service & repair of Automatic Gates within a Residential Setting as well as Larger Commercial Gates.
  • Most of the work will be based in the Birmingham and West Midlands areas however there could be the occasional job further afield as and when required.
  • Communicating with the clients customers and building an excellent relationship with them.
  • Taking part in a call out rota when required. (This rota is currently only offered during working hours - therefore there will be no out-of-hours call outs for the time being).
  • You will ideally be based in the West Midlands in order to commute to the office when needed.
  • You will ideally have knowledge of a range of products such as CAME, BFT, FAAC, NICE and so on. (Training can and will be provided when necessary).
    • Qualifications/ Requirements:
  • Full UK driving Licence - this is an essential requirement.
  • DHF Diploma/ Gate Safe - this is desirable requirement as the qualification can and will be provided for the right candidate.
  • You will have at least 2 years experience in the automatic gate, door or industrial door industry.
