Position: 1:1 Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)Location: Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, UKWe are a well-established and thriving school in Sutton Coldfield, dedicated to providing exceptional education and support to our diverse student population. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant(SEN TA) to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of our students.Responsibilities:Provide one-on-one support and assistance to a student with special educational needs, helping them access the curriculum and reach their full potential.Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to create and implement personalized learning plans for the student.Monitor the students progress, identifying areas of improvement, and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.Assist with the students personal care and well-being, ensuring they are comfortable and engaged in learning activities.Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes the students social and emotional development.Requirements:Previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs is preferred but not essential.Patient, empathetic, and understanding nature to build positive relationships with the student and support their individual needs.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other support staff.Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the student and the school environment.A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.Qualifications:Minimum of 12 months experience in a childcare or school settingertifications or training in special educational needs or related fields would be advantageous but not essentialWorking Hours:This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday.What we offer:Competetive rates of pay* £100 bonus after you have worked 10 days* Holiday pay* Flexible work in schools local to where you live* Long-term and permanent opportunities* Recommend a friend scheme earning up to £250* A consultant to guide you through your assignments and help you with your CVTo Apply:If you are passionate about supporting students with special educational needs and making a difference in their lives, we would love to hear from you.
