Job Description

A specialist Pharmaceutical Service Company are looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join their team based in Surrey. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone with previous Supply Chain experience within the pharmaceutical industry.Supply Chain Planer Role:In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination of the commercial supply chain process and operation including coordination of supply chain activities and maintaining approved stock levels.Supply Chain Planner Responsibilities:

  • Product Tracking - Order to Receipt
  • Receive and gain consensus on monthly forecasts with commercial
  • Align monthly forecast into system
  • Creation and Management of required purchase orders
  • PO and Forecast Transmission to CMOs and API providers
  • Interface with Regulatory and CMO’s for Artwork changes
  • Management of invoices and associated issues with CMO’s
  • Supply chain issue management through regular monthly standard business meetings cross-functionally including CMOs
  • To follow, promote and enforce relevant SOPs, Job Aids, and Company policies and procedures
  • Supply Chain Planner Requirements:
  • Experience in a previous similar role within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Knowledge of core supply chain processes, demand and supply planning, forecasting, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), inventory management, procurement, logistics and distribution
  • Understanding of the impact of supply chain decisions have on customer requirements
  • Knowledge of resource planning systems
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail in composing and proofing materials, establishing priorities, scheduling and meeting deadlines.
  • APICS certification
  • In return, you will receive a salary between £30,000-£35,000, excellent training, and ongoing career development.
