The successfull Senior Electrical Commissioning Engineer will control our clients electrical commissioning in the EMEA region, as well as supporting the development for electrical commissioning globally. Providing technical leadership and governance, supporting and decision making in the field of electrical equipment and systems, so that plant operation is both safe and economical.This role will primarily be based in the clients project engineering office in Surrey, although where possible, with covid restrictions permitting, site visits within the EMEA region would be necessary, leading the team of Electrical Commissioning resources for a project.We are looking for a minimum 10 years site experience working in chemical, petrochemical or related process industries, with extensive knowledge of electrical MV, LV distribution systems, variety of switchgear types including protection relays and control systems. Working knowledge of IS and IEC standards is essential. Experience working with engineering codes and design practices including ANSI, NEMA and NEC codes would be a desirable additional skill set.The position will report to the EMEA Commissioning Manager, when on project to the Construction Site Manager and Project Director.Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be able to provide evidence of this in support of the application.RHL Act as an employment agency and recruitment consultancy.
