Job Description

The RoleWe have a fantastic opportunity a for a proactive Regional Sales Negotiator to join our team at Jewson, based in Staines. This role is Monday-Friday 7:30-17:00. You will Provide National Contractors with a high level of service and act as a single point of contact to meet there requirements, whilst negotiating profitable sales with named customers and associated contracts. Also support the Sales Centres defined Government locations to ensure all branch related enquiries relating to relevant accounts are handled efficiently.What are we looking for

  • Experience in Sales of Building Materials
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Commercial awareness is essential
  • A high-level of product knowledge is preferred
  • Effective communication skills (verbal/written)
  • Team player, with ability to work on own initiative
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 is advantageous
  • What will you be responsible for
  • Deliver weekly reports on performance of sales and profit to the Sales Centre Manager
  • Identify actions and strategies to increase sales and profit of the customer base and ensure the Sales Centre Manager is aware of such actions
  • Achieve sales targets in line with productivity measurements
  • Develop new business direct to site along with developing existing customers
  • Build strong working relationships with ADs, the branch network, relevant market mangers to ensure adequate levels of contract support are maintained where necessary and to continuously develop sales opportunities
  • Provide a high quality complete customer service both in person and via the telephone
  • Maintain awareness of all manufacturer price increases and pass information to the Sales Manager and customers ensuring they are fully aware of how any increases may affect them
