Planning Manager / Senior Planning ManagerSurreyPerm role.Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a growing Housebuilding operation in their hire of an experienced Planner to their office based in Surrey!This Company deliver a strong portfolio of individual homes that sets them apart, and the current team lay claim to being a trend-setter in its area of operation, which is predominately Southeast England, Surrey and the surrounding areas.The current team complete roughly 100 new homes annually, ranging from bespoke luxury homes, which demand the highest level of specification, to family homes and superior collections of apartments.We are seeking applications from MRTPI qualified and experienced individuals who have worked for a housebuilder, planning consultancy or strategic land promoter.In this role you will be responsible for appraising potential development land and giving an opinion on the suitability for residential development. The necessary technical knowledge in order to critically appraise residential feasibility layouts will berequired.The ideal candidate will have experience of promoting strategic land through the Local Plan process, and preparing appropriately structured representations.
