Job Description

Even during these unprecedented times, my client a global leading financial services organisation is still very much "business as usual". With all their staff currently working from home, they are now seeking Regulatory Repository Managers, who will initially themselves start working from home. Once there is a return to the office, you will be based out of their offices in Surrey. There is also the opportunity to work from home a couple of days per week (dependent on business needs).This area of the business Workplace Investing (DC Operations) is responsible supporting and maintaining pension administration services for a wide range of corporate clients. The nature of the service provided includes full support to pension scheme members at all stages of the administration life cycle through to specialist support to Trustees and members for specific task delivery.You will join a team to create and maintain a UK Regulatory Repository and Operational Compliance Framework for Workplace Investing and SIPP, where key responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking research into all prevailing regulations relevant to their DC & SIPP pensions business.
  • Review materials developed previously like product specifications, service guides and admin manuals to ensure alignment where appropriate and flag potential remediation needs due to divergence from regulations.
  • Create and maintain a regulatory repository.
  • Efficiently provide outline policy interpretations based upon aforementioned regulations. This should be at a broad level of the what, when, how & for whom but not seek to over influence actual methods or style of outcomes/communications.
  • Outline policies should be in a common template which can be used for review by design authority and implemented by subsequent process review team(s).
  • Review existing processes and customer outcomes against "new" policies, provide gap analysis and progress required small scale process/output changes. Identify need to investigate historical cases.
  • Possessing extensive knowledge of Defined Contribution regulatory & operational environments, it is also essential that you possesses a strong "can do" attitude with a strong desire to make things happen with a high level of ownership, a proven project discipline and adaptability to changing agendas.Full details including the remuneration and benefits package that includes bonus potential, non-contributory pensions and free parking (when in office) are available on application.
