It’s an opportunity to be part of something special.Role OverviewThe Northern European Business Unit Oral Health Care Shopper & Category Head will drive category growth development based on shopper insights and Haleon brands strategies to ensure triple win – Category within Customer; Shopper satisfaction and Haleon Brandsgrowth. Bringing high focus in winning in store while driving visibility and distribution strategy and defining and tracking disruptive in store execution.Position is to provide business with strategic recommendations and analysis concerning market trends, shopper research & insights, portfolio management, in store execution strategy/tracking and product positioning.A key part of this role is to lead strategic direction of OHC Shopper & Category in Northern Europe and to enable the countries of NE (Nordics, Benelux, France, GB, Ireland) to execute the in store initiatives with highest excellence.This role can be based in any of our Northern Europe territories: UK&I, Nordics, France and Benelux. Key Responsibilities

  • Source of strategic expertise for Northern Europe Business Unit in terms of Oral Health Care market trends, channels and market dynamics for Oral Health Care categories.
  • Translates OHC Category growth platforms and vision to markets, in-store execution guidelines, category & shopper insights across BU.
  • Leads winning in store strategical concept for OHC NE: visibility & distribution strategy, opportunities, tracking the progress and bringing the Northern Europe countries ‘ shopper & category community together to share the best practices, provide support
  • Main contact for Haleon Shopper Science Lab and marketing category leads when building category vision and targets. Leads the global shopper & category toolkits deployment to clusters while identifying support needed.
  • Supports strategical trade decks with above market insights and supports planning of Shopper Science Lab sessions with retailers
  • Leads OHC NE critical innovation launches (what, how, journey) along with innovation/category customer days for OHC
  • Leads NE OHC channel strategy
    • Setting OHC strategy by channel. Involved in innovation process from category & shopper perspective
    • Tracking of full year big activations including innovation and health inclusivity initiatives. Sets the KPIs for success, sharing best practices with the countries. Drives spending effectiveness guidelines with net revenue management director.
    • Recommended channel assortment aligned with PPA
    • Close cooperation with BU NRM lead to recommend top activation/ promo mechanics with shopper/channel insights
    • Supports countries shelf strategy opps/gaps with planogram guidelines
  • Main partners with BU Marketing Category Leads, cluster category leads, SSL and OTC/VMS Category & Shopper Lead, BU NRM Lead, BU Data & Analytics Lead. Manages shopper marketing agencies and works with CBIA and Category Management to identify shopper insights
  • Coordination of delivery of category input and recommendations to annual brand and shopper planning (sources of growth, market trends, shopper insights by channel, retail opportunities & challenges)
Skills / Experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Comex, Category Management; including management
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
  • Accountability for results
  • People management and experience in leading team
  • Proven skills to manage a high degree of complexity.
  • Ability in P&L management
  • Sales experience would be additionaladvantage.
  • Strategic thinking and high energy to drive the strategy into implementation with countries
  • Outspoken, clear communication and presentation skills
  • Analytical skills
