Job Description

An excellent opportunity for a Technical/Medical Writer has arisen with a UK based Diagnostic and Pharmaceutical organisation. This is a chance for a Medical Writer with a strong clinical and regulatory background to take the next step in their career with an organisation who is passionate about the transformative work they do in the diagnostics space. The role comes with some impressive benefits and a competitive package for an individual looking to further their experience within the In Vitro Diagnostic Device Regulation space. Start date, as soon as possible. Remote, permanent role with some travel required to Surrey.The Medical Writer will be:

  • Creating and maintaining user manuals and instructions for in vitro diagnostic medical devices, utilising information from R&D, marketing and relevant clinicians.
  • Conducting clinical, regulatory and safety medical writing to a high quality and standard
  • Researching, writing and editing complex technical data
  • Supporting regulatory submissions by ensuring technical documents are presented in the necessary formats
  • Designing and creating style guidelines for texts and illustrations to meet business needs.
  • The Medical Writer will have:
  • Around 3 years’ experience drafting technical documents and performing Clinical Evaluations and writing Clinical Evaluation Reports as well as systematic reviews.
  • Understanding or experience of MEDDEV and the In Vitro Diagnostic Device Regulation (EU IVDR)
  • A degree in Life Sciences
  • The ability to interpret data from scientific literature and clinical studies, summarising the resulting in a clear manner.
  • The right to work in the UK
