Lead Network Engineer (WAN, LAN/WLAN, Meraki) - client facing consulting role onsite in Surrey (currently work from home)Advantage Resourcing are recruiting on behalf of our prestigious client for a Lead Network Engineer with technical design and implementation skills as well as strong customer facing skills who can communicate effectively with managers and technical engineers. The role is to do design and hands-on Implementation of customer network infrastructure with a focus on Cisco/Cisco Meraki WAN, LAN, WLAN. Technical expertise is required in routing protocols (BGP & OSPF), WAN technologies, LAN switching, WLAN design and deployment, as well as knowledge of SDN. Experience of Cisco Meraki is preferred but any Cisco Enterprise LAN/WLAN would be consideredResponsibilities* Design and Hands-on Implementation of customer network infrastructure (Cisco/Cisco Meraki WAN, LAN, WLAN) * Create and maintain necessary documentation. * Be the internal Architectural lead working with customers Architects and Engineers as the Trusted Partner in delivery of current workload and develop road-maps for future. * Provide engineering support to enable the team to provide high quality services/solutions to our customers. * Responsible for defining the strategy needed to enable delivery of complex projects. * Manage the Deliverables on complex customer design and implementation projects. * Pro-actively drive the development of the engineering role together with the other Design & Implementation engineers. * Deliver BAU Change and Project workload. * Matrix manage workload and deliverables for off shore partner engineering team. * Fourth-level support for Operations as part of the Incident and Problem Management Process.
