Job Description

The Key Account Manager will deliver sales, cost control and exceptional customer service to major accounts, by leveraging relationships through on going operational effectiveness in the delivery of Sage Parts on site value proposition services.Client DetailsSage Parts is the world market leader in replacement parts for ground support equipment. And they are continually extending their presence throughout the international aviation marketplace, bringing parts and GSE services closer to their point of use with a growing number of on-site parts facilities at airports.Sage Parts has the aviation industrys largest on-hand inventory of replacement parts for ground support equipment, including every part for every brand of Ground Support Equipment (GSE). And each part is available with the convenience of a single place to shop. From Lift Trucks, Sweepers and Scrubbers, to Burden/Personnel/Utility Carriers, and Aerial Work Platforms as well as the equipmentDescriptionThe Key Account Manager will be responsible for:

  • Delivering on-site operational services of ground support equipment parts within key accounts based in Heathrow and Gatwick.
  • Cost control, sales and high levels of customer service.
  • Follow the sales from order to delivery.
  • Using management information systems/tools to accurately track and forecast sales, inventory. stock, pricing, invoicing, predictive maintenance through to analysis of data to produce accurate account presentations and reviews.
  • Consignment stock management.
  • Handle stock reduction / new stock implementation.
  • Manage stock-to-fleet profile.
  • Weekly, monthly, quarterly review meetings.
  • Site coverage and operational support for annual leave, sickness, and/or scheduled projects.
  • Managing one on site report.
  • ProfileThe Key Account Manager will have:
  • Excellence in communication, organisation and relationship management.
  • Technical appreciation - ideally knowledge in aftermarket supply of ground support equipment, automotive parts, plant, off- road, commercial vehicles, mining or engines.
  • Record of accomplishment within a similar role/function such as a branch manager, general manager, site operations or on-site account manager or variables of each.
  • A high level of accountability for operational efficiency.
  • A strong entrepreneurial spirit, business acumen and commercial competency.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • A minimal commute to Heathrow.
