Established in 1922, we are a countywide charity based in Fetcham, near Leatherhead.We are looking to recruit an IT & Facilities Officer to support our IT and premises functions across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity and involves a considerable variety of tasks, essential to the work of Sight for Surrey. The post holder will need to be confident to undertake the operation of a wide variety of IT and technical equipment, be competent and patient in IT problem-solving, and disciplined with excellent time management. The post holder will assist the core administrative staff in welcoming visitors and deliveries to Sight for Surrey and support the Head of Administration with all premises related issues.Experience of using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel is essential and experience with databases is desirable. They will need to have experience of working in a busy people-focussed environment and general office administration experience. Training will be available as appropriate. A car driver with own vehicle is essential to travel off-site if required, and must be able to physically manage stationery including some moderate lifting.
