Job Description

Information Security SpecialistLocation: This role offers a range of base locations – Frimley, Broad Oak, Scotstoun, New Malden, or Filton with some travel involved. We also offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements.Salary: Up to GBP55,000 (Dependent upon qualifications and experience)As a global leader in defense and security solutions, we are dedicated to protecting those who protect us. We are seeking a proactive and skilled Information Security Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an Information Security Specialist, you will playa pivotal role in providing comprehensive advice and guidance on Information Assurance, Risk Management, and Mitigation activities. Your expertise will contribute to the maintenance and management of accreditation artifacts, as well as ensuring the effectiveapplication of Security Controls to our products.What Youll Be Doing:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on Information Assurance and Risk Management activities.
  • Create, maintain, and manage accreditation artifacts in alignment with industry standards.
  • Support Security Working Groups and facilitate effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with the latest Security standards and technologies, continuously enhancing your own skill set.
  • Lead and support team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and development.
  • Contribute to the Product Security Special Interest Group, sharing best practices and insights.
Your Skills and Experiences:
  • Extensive experience with the Ministry of Defence accreditation processes and security frameworks.
  • Practical knowledge of Risk Assessment and Mitigation (RMADS).
  • CCP qualification or equivalent (e.g., CISMP, CISM, CISSP, etc.).
  • Strong leadership capabilities in technical Security discussions, assessments, and reviews.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on planning, documentation, and adherence to standards.
  • Ability to shape technical solutions across multiple organizations and stakeholders.
  • Customer–centric mindset with a knack for forging meaningful partnerships.
