Job Description

HRBP - Retail UK’s Fastest Growing Independent Builder Trade GroupSurrey / M42 / Berkshire Completive Salary / Bonus / Share Options / Great BenefitsThe ClientWe are excited to be partnering with one of the UKs Fastest Growing Independent Builders on a fantastic new HR project. The goal is to become a leader in the independent builders’ merchant sector. To do this they have been working to build a customer-focused business, with great products, outstanding customer service and a strong, expanding branch network.We are recruiting HR Business Partners to support the rapid expansion plans and to support the brands in located all over the South / Midlands.Responsibilities include

  • Manage and support organisational design with Operations/Regional team
  • Provide coaching, guidance and support to Management across a range of ER issues, managing any complex cases to mitigate risk to the business
  • Work with the leadership team to define a highly business-focused HR strategy, translating the outputs into operational actions
  • Build effective relationships with the operational and leadership team, demonstrating the business value that can be added by the HR function
  • Encourage the integration of HR best practice into working practises and business planning
  • Coach the operational and leadership team, supporting them in developing their capabilities
  • Drive employee engagement including championing the engagement survey, and ensuring the feedback is turned into tangible actions at business, regional and branch levels
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
  • Analyse trends and metrics with the HR department
  • Act as a general point of contact for Managers at site for all HR related Operational queries
  • Work closely with the Regional Managers to ensure that optimal structures and headcount are in place at all times
  • Manage all HR Communications to sites via appropriate communication channels
