Job Description

HRLife are delighted to be working with a growing, global brand to recruit their Global Talent Lead. This is a business with ambitious growth plans, hence there is a real focus on people - from hiring the best to developing and building their capability. As such the key they are looking for a passionate and engaging L&D / Talent specialist to design and implement their Global Talent Strategy and put in place a robust structure around good people processes.This is both a strategic and operational role. You will own and drive the Talent Strategy and as part of this, you will work closely with senior business leaders, developing a real understanding of the business and their L&D needs; talent planning for the medium to long term and looking to future-proof the business. However, they are also looking for an individual who is happy to be hands-on; designing, implementing and delivering.Given their growth plans, this is an exciting time to join as you really start to shape their Talent Development agenda. You will lead a number of key projects focused around succession planning; identifying high-potentials; designing a global sales academy; implementing an LMS through to designing effective recruitment processes and assessment centres and enhancing their talent reviews and performance management processes. This is a busy and influential role offering lots of exposure to the business leaders.Other key responsibilities include:

  • Support HR and business leaders to ascertain development needs and identify appropriate development
  • Designing and delivering leadership and business skills training across the business
  • Measuring the effectiveness of programmes and their impact
  • Due to the scope of this role, previous talent and development experience gained in a commercial business is a must. Experience of having worked globally or across the EMEA region would be highly advantageous. A successful track in designing and implementing forward-thinking talent and development initiatives that have a positive impact will be key to success in this role.In addition, you will be able to demonstrate:
  • Expertise in translating business requirements into strategies and actions for talent
  • Ability to influence, challenge, and advise key stakeholders
  • Familiarity with the use of psychometrics and other assessment and development tools
  • c£75k plus car allowance and attractive bonus
