Job Description

Global Mobility AssociateA powerhouse within the pharmaceutical industry is looking for a Global Mobility Associate to join their team in Surrey on an initial 6 month contract.Accountable for ensuring the delivery of immigration and mobility from and to the UK. Covering all UK business areas, the Global Mobility Associate will support the end to end process elements which impact the UK. The UK has significant compliance requirementsrelated to immigration rules, making UK immigration a fast paced, ever changing environment. This role will support the mobility strategy whilst at the same time focusing on compliance and ensuring our obligations regarding UK immigration laws and companypolicy are met.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work in close partnership with Global Mobility, SMEs, external providers and PX Business Partners to boost overall colleague experience and to enable movement of talent
  • Support successful execution of immigration related onboarding and offboarding for site colleagues (led by the manager)
  • Act as an interface contact for colleagues, Global Mobility, PX and GBS
  • Work in close partnership with local and global People Experience and CoEs to ensure that relevant programmes and processes are implemented and delivered aligned with business and People Experience strategies.
  • Simplify our processes and ways of working to enable ourselves and the business to focus on meaningful work
  • Demonstrate insight and analysis of latest trends to showcase innovation in colleague experience and actively participate in the design of global to local mobility/immigration solutions
  • Co-ordination of the visa extension process, liaising with internal and third parties as appropriate
  • Liaison with relevant parties (e.g. legal and global mobility) to ensure compliant processes are in place and carried out
  • Take ownership of the end to end process and associated documentation to ensure compliance with company and Home Office policy
  • Project work as identified to enhance the process and to ensure continued compliance
  • Review data and records to ensure compliance with our sponsor license reporting obligations
  • Provide guidance on immigration processes and legislation (ensuring knowledge is kept up to date)
EXPERIENCE
  • Demonstrated understanding of the immigration, visa and Home Office requirements
  • Proven experience in a corporate environment or highly regulated industry
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex global and matrix environment, working with cross-functional teams and colleagues at all levels of an organisation

  • Able to produce reports from the HR information system and be able to competently analyse, interpret and report on the data.
  • Apply and utilise information technology (e.g. email, databases, word processing, presentation and spreadsheet software)
