Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a European Tax Manager to join a leading FMCG business based in Surrey. The role will work in partnership with European colleagues, the companys global tax team and the international finance and treasury organisations. Reporting to the Vice President of Global Tax, you will be responsible for the UK entity for tax and support teams based in multiple European countries.To successfully deliver in the profile position, you will need to have:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Experience of working with European entities
  • Ability to partner with senior management as a tax business partner
  • Proactive in tracking and adapting to changes in tax regulations
  • Ability to build robust and professional relationships
  • Highly organised and able to operate within a given framework
  • USGAAP experience
    • A little more information about the role:
  • Overseeing tax matters in the UK and Europe including tax compliance, tax planning and transfer pricing
  • Review and manage tax returns, compliance and statutory accounting in line with US GAAP, UK GAAP and IFRS standards
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for tax authorities
  • Producing technical tax analyses and documentation on key financial transactions
  • Coordinating, managing and implementing ad-hoc projects
