I am currently recruiting for a hardware design engineer to join a client who are based in the North of Surrey on a permanent basis. Working on a small R&D team, you will be designing sensors that are used and sold all over the world in some of the most demanding industries. You will have a good all round background in electronics design, with a particular focus on analgoue and mixed signal circuitry, and have a passion for product development and working to the highest possible standards. In return, you will be working on a varied project portfolio in various stages of development, will get technically interesting and challenging work, and will be given the opportunity to lead small R&D projects.The office has excellent road links with on site parking, and is also walking distance from several train stations.Some of our clients sensor products are used for detection in the defence sector, so to be considered for this role you will need to be a British passport holder and be eligible for security clearance.The salary for this role is in the region of £40,000 - £45,000.Requirements:+ Analogue design skills+ Experience designing mixed signal boards+ Analogue - digital conversion experience+ Full product lifecycle design skills+ Technical degree would be beneficial+ Instrumentation knowledge would be useful+ Knowledge of embedded software ( particulary C)To apply, please send in an up to date CV, or for more information, call Paul Dennett on 0118=9077=585.
