JustPhysio are looking for a Band 8A Physiotherapist to work with their client based in Surrey Band 8A PhysiotherapistNeuro Rehab Salary £45,753 - £51,668Start ASAP Our client is looking for a band 8A Physiotherapist to join their team in Surrey . The Physiotherapist is responsible for providing a comprehensive specialist PT service to patients requiring neuro-rehabilitation. You will be required to -*Provide, maintain and review a comprehensive client-focused, highly specialist Rehabilitation service for patients from 16 years old and above. This service will involve carers, families and service providers.*Provide clinical leadership in the area of Physiotherapy and neurological rehabilitation, covering a range of neurological disorders.*Act in a consultancy role, for all clinical staff, in addressing complex patient issues in neurological rehabilitation.*To determine clinical diagnosis and treatment indicated, and maintain records as an autonomous practitioner. To undertake a significant clinical caseload to a high professional standard using specialist knowledge from theoretical and practical experience.*Provide clinical supervision to junior staff and Rehabilitation Assistants.*Work in a collaborative manner with existing services and new service developments in order to contribute to the ongoing development of the Ascot Rehab Service and to lead on service developments and initiatives in the area of neurology.*Carry a specialist caseload and work with team members to assess, plan and implement appropriate rehabilitation programmes. This will include close working with other agencies and provider groups within primary and secondary care.*Initiate and direct research and clinical audit within the service relevant to this area of expertise*Be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of own work - ensure that you work within professional standard and clinical guidelines*Be responsible for overseeing the Physiotherapy team including rotas, division of clients and therapy sessions, professional development, supervision of the Physiotherapy team members, conflict resolution within the team and between therapy teams, escalating as required to the Head of Rehabilitation.*Undertake uni-professional, multi-professional and specialist Physiotherapy assessments using evidence-based outcome measures. Clients are 16 years and over and have complex neurological conditions, including cognitive impairments.* Ensure an expert standard of clinical care for patients under your care acquired through advanced, or masters level post graduate study supplemented by continuous development and reflection on clinical experience.*Carry out highly specialised assessments of patients, using advanced investigative and analytical skills to formulate a diagnosis. To have specialist knowledge of treatment approaches, underpinned with theoretical knowledge, specialist training and self-directed learning. Provide a personalised programme of care for each patient in your care, using high level clinical reasoning skills, and knowledge of highly specialist treatment approaches to provide the optimum treatment plan.* Develop innovative and evidence based programs to improve the outcomes for people who require rehabilitation, from a neurological event or other conditions.If you are interested in this great opportunity, please call Alison on
