Job Description

Art Facilitator - The Grove Resource Centre - £9.25ph Hours: Monday to Friday 9am till 4.30pm £500 for joining Voyage Care (*T&Cs apply) To plan and develop Creative Art sessions that deliver structured, meaningful and stimulating content for peoplewe support of all abilities and all ages. To provide fun and enjoyable sessions through forms of Art therapy and Creative play within our day service in Hindhead, Surrey. Responsibilities: To coordinate and provide meaningful, stimulating activities for thepeople we support and to deliver sessions with energy and enthusiasm.To be responsible for planning, developing, delivering, monitoring and reporting on the activities that are coordinated.Have a good knowledge enabling you to write yearly and sometimes sixmonthly reviews for the people we support.Deliver reviews on time and provide them in a legible, informative and positive style.To work as part of a friendly, dynamic and proactive team and to promote a positive, can-do attitude within the centre.To communicateeffectively with the people we support, their support staff and the staff team at The Grove.Supervise support staff at the centre during sessions.To be empathic and sensitive towards the needs of the people we support.Participate in the education and developmentof all the people we support.To attend all mandatory training courses and to complete the companys e-learning.Support the manager in maintaining and improving on the standards of the service already being achieved and highlight areas for development.Workin conjunction with the manager to ensure good systems of communication are adopted and maintained at all times.Looking after and maintaining equipment used at the day centre and reporting when its condition needs attention.Any other duties that may be reasonablyrequested and expected.
