Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for Material Handlers to work for a leading manufacturer within the automotive sector. We have positions available within a warehouse environment, utilising the Reach truck as well as in the manufacturing side operating aCounter Balance.In this role, the successful individual will be required to carry out Material Handling duties as required: including: loading & unloading vehicles; picking & packing of all parts; working to strict deadlines; ensuring targets are met; completing all relevantpaperwork; and adhering to Health & Safety guidelines.This is an ongoing assignment, with immediate starts, based in the Washington/Sunderland area, paying:

  • a starting hourly rate of between £9.98 - £10.87 p/hr (depending upon shift pattern)
  • which increases to £10.96 - £11.94 p/hr after 3 months.
  • shift patterns tend to be either 2-shift or 3-shift and suitable applicants will be required to follow a set shift rotation
Applicants must have valid FLT certificates and/or a Tow Tractor Licence with experience
