Job Description

Job Title: Telehandler OperatorCompany: Central Employment on behalf of our clientLocation: Sunderland, United KingdomSalary: £18.00 per hourWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm (with overtime available on weekends)About the Company: Central Employment are recruiting on behalf of a leading construction company, who are currently seeking a skilled Telehandler Operator to join their team for a long-term contract based in Sunderland. We are seeking a reliable and experienced Telehandler Operator to work on a long-term contract with our client, a leading construction company based in Sunderland. The successful candidate will be responsible for operatinga telehandler to assist with various construction tasks on-site.Responsibilities:

  • Operate a telehandler to move materials and equipment around the construction site safely and efficiently.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on-site.
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials as required.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on the telehandler to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with other members of the construction team to coordinate tasks and activities.
Requirements:
  • Valid NPORS or CPCS Telehandler license is essential.
  • Previous experience operating a telehandler in a construction environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Willingness to undergo a recent medical examination or be willing to undertake one.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, with overtime available on weekends as required.
