We will continue to build upon these successes and expand into new markets and industries, producing innovativeand competitive products and technologies that advance the goal of a zero-carbon emission future.Envision AESC have joined forces with Nissan and Sunderland City Council as part of the "Nissan EV36Zero project thatll see not only a new, fully electric car pumped out of the Wearside factory, but a whole battery gigafactory and solar farms to help it runcleanly.The Role:Reporting to the Plant Operational VP, the successful candidate will manage all aspects of the Production Control and Logistics tasks, including plant based scheduling, parts management, design change control, inventory control, warehousing and transport. Therole involves working with operational management to ensure customer needs are satisfied timely and cost effectively.Some of the key responsibilities will be: Utilise Global production plans to develop appropriate weekly & monthly Production plans, for each stage of the Battery Production process. Monitor and Manage WIP and finished goods inventory. Ensuring customer JIT delivery requirements are achieved with zero incidents. Ordering the necessary raw materials to achieve the production plan, considering delivery lead times and processing time. Active monitoring of inbound parts to ensure on time delivery in full. Reporting, monitoring and reacting to actual production achievement. Lead studies to optimise the overall stock management costsThe Person:The successful candidate will be a strong people leader, with proven experience of managing and motivating a team to deliver high performance.Key skills and attributes also include: Extensive experience of supply change management in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Minimum 5 years , preferably in the automotive industry. Hands on experience of ERP systems. Preferably experience of SAP operation modules. Knowledge of global supply chain operations, particularly container shipping. Strong business acumen: understanding the existing and future business needs. Ability to work and interact with all levels within a multicultural organisation.
