Stores Person required for a new permanent role in Washington/Sunderland. This is a full-time role, the shifts are 6-2 / 2-10 with a shift allowance payable.Duties will include:Packing and despatching orders whilst maintaining accurate records and documentationAdhering to goods out and despatch requirementsEnsuring customers packages are in appropriate conditions to company specifications, carrying our shipping arrangementsDemonstrate attention to detail regarding goods, ensuring prompt checks for damage, basic inspection, reporting faults and any delivery / paperwork errorsResponsible for receiving deliveries, booking in both electronically and manually and locating stockResponsible for picking and kitting of product / parts for production and projectsEnsure that the stores area is clean and organisedDevelop and maintain established effective working relationships within the organisations as well as external suppliersMaintain a flexible approach due to tight timescales and business needsExperience/Skills RequiredGood level of education to at least GCSE levelEffective communicatorStrong organisational skills, attention to detail and the highest level of accuracy in all aspects of the roleExperience of using both electronic and manual stock systems.
